Situated in the heart of Greasbrough village Jubilee Care Home is a purpose – built care home that offers permanent, short stay / respite residential and residential dementia care. The home is easily accessible by public transport. There is adequate car parking facilities in the home.

Jubilee Care Home offer high quality care services for the elderly. Our expert staff team work together to provide comfortable, safe and happy daily care and ensure your loved ones are safe in our hands. Our Bedrooms are pleasant, being decorative, spacious and individual in character with splendid views. We have three lounges, a reminiscence room and spacious dining room giving plenty of space for the residents to relax and enjoy the activities we provide.

Jubilee Care Home prides itself in planning and delivering specialist nursing care and residential care. Our Home Manager leads a team of caring and professional individuals in all areas of the home, their main focus is to provide the kindest possible care to our residents.

  • Members of our nursing team have undergone extensive training to ensure they can support Residents with complex health needs. To complement our nursing capabilities, we have an excellent team of Senior Care staff trained to NVQ level 3.
  • Our senior team are supported by our dedicated care team to ensure we deliver personalised care and support to people with wide ranging needs which include, but are not limited to parkinson’s disease, stroke Care, dementia Care, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, palliative care.
  • We also benefit from accessing a wide range of specialist medical and healthcare equipment so that Residents can be assured of the right care and support to meet their needs.
  • Whatever the level of care required, we strive to deliver this care with kindness and consideration for both physical and emotional needs, where quality of life is paramount.

Food & Nutrition

Our Professional catering team takes pride in using carefully sourced local fresh ingredients to create a wide variety of freshly prepared, seasonal meals.
Of equal importance to matching Residents’ taste preferences is matching their nutritional needs to ensure that food acts as an important extension to a resident’s personalised care programme.

The purpose-built accommodation is provided initially on one floor, consisting of 2 units. One 13 bedded general Nursing and Residential unit and one 12 bedded Residential Dementia unit.

  • The home provides a variety of daily living spaces available
    including 2 lounges on each unit along with a light and airy dining area on both units.
  • Residents’ bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped with en-suite facilities, TV aerial points and a nurse call system. We encourage Residents to personalise their bedrooms with personal items and treasured belongings, so it feels familiar and personal to them.
  • We encourage Residents to enjoy the outside as much as they can; enjoying our secure central quadrangle which is accessible from both units.
  • We also have a large lawned rear garden and lawned areas around the home; our open space provides plenty of opportunities to get involved in gardening, as well as a comfortable area for Residents to relax with family and friends.
  • We also offer a range of services to make life at Jubilee Care Home more comfortable, including hairdressing salon, chiropody, Daily newspaper delivery (upon request), Dentist, Optician.

Social Events & Residents Interests

Many of our Residents gain benefit from maintaining close links with the local community, Jubilee Care Home welcomes a variety of local organisations and Resident interest groups to help create a sense of community that benefits all.

  • We aim to organise an imaginative weekly programme of hobbies, activities and social opportunities that help Residents achieve joy,
    fulfilment and often laughter; it is these precious moments that contribute so positively to quality of life and living!
  • Trips and outings are a regular part of daily life we aim to ensure our residents get the opportunity to enjoy these, and with everything from school performances to seasonal eventson offer, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Visiting Jubilee Care Home

Jubilee Care Home operates an ‘Open Visiting Policy’ that makes visiting friends and loved ones flexible. If you would like to view Jubilee Care Home as a prospective Resident you are welcome to visit at any time; however we recommend that if you would like to meet our Home Manager Jane Ridge, you can contact us in advance so we can make an appointment.

Chaplaincy And Pastoral Support

Jubilee care Home is proud to be supported by our chaplaincy service, who offers spiritual and pastoral support to all, weather you are religious or not. Our chaplaincy service provides a safe and secure environment to share your thoughts and experiences by ensuring your privacy, dignity and confidentiality are respected and maintained at all times.
